The ICYM Mangalore Diocesan Executive Committee (DEXCO) officially visited the ICYM-PYC Gurpur Unit on 12th April 2025 at 6 PM at the PYC Stage, Gurpur. The program began with a prayer led by Venisha Saldanha, Liturgical Secretary, and Jyothsna Nazareth, Lady Vice President of the Gurpur Unit. Pompei Youngsters Club (PYC), affiliated to ICYM Mangalore Diocese, celebrated its 52nd Annual Day in a grand way on February 9, 2025, at Our Lady of Pompei Church, Gurpur Kaikamba. The celebrations began with a Holy Mass at 7:30 AM, celebrated by V. Rev. Fr. Rudolph Ravi D’Sa, the Parish Priest and Director of ICYM – PYC Gurpur. Deacon Vikas Pereira shared inspiring thoughts in his sermon, making the service even more meaningful. Fr. Rudolph praised the youth for their active participation in the liturgy, appreciating their dedication and enthusiasm throughout the year. The 52nd Annual Day celebrations continued in the evening at 6 PM in the church grounds with a grand stage program. The event began with a prayer song led by ICYM – PYC members, seeking God's blessings. The program was presided over by V. Rev. Fr. Rudolf Ravi D’Sa, Director of ICYM – PYC. The PYC Get-Together 2025 took place on January 11, 2025, in front of the PYC Stage, Gurpur Kaikamba, from 6 PM to 10 PM. Around 50 members joined in to celebrate this special evening. The highlight of the night was the Secret Santa gift exchange, where members spread the joy of Christmas by sharing thoughtful gifts. A delicious dinner was served, and refreshing mocktails were specially prepared by the PYC members. The event was filled with fun group games, lively music, and energetic dance performances, making it a memorable night for everyone. The success of this event was due to the active participation of all members, strengthening the bond among the youngsters of Our Lady of Pompei Church, Gurpur Kaikamba.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS The ICYM-PYC Gurpur unit actively participated in spreading the joy of Christmas by visiting all the houses in the Our Lady of Pompei Church, Gurpur - Kaikamba, for Christmas carols. Each day, around 30 to 35 enthusiastic youths came together to sing carols and share the festive spirit. Accompanied by Santa Claus, greeting cards and Kuswar were given to the families during the Christmas Carols spreading cheer and delight among all the parishioners.
