ICYM - PYC GURPUR ORGANISED KUTMA ZEVAN ON THE OCCASION OF MONTHI FESTH

ICYM-PYC Gurpur along with Youth Commission organized KUTMA ZEVAN on the occasion of Monthi Festh on 10th September at 6:30 PM in the Pompei Sabha Bhavan. Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Mr. Romans Lobo, Parish 21 Commissions Coordinator Mrs. Hilda Menezes, Karnataka Regional Vice President Mr. Terrence Crasta, ICYM - PYC Animator and Youth Commission Secretary Mr. Godwin Tauro, ICYM - PYC President Vaibhav Rodrigues, ICYM-PYC Secretary Josvita D'Souza and 50 ICYM-PYC Members were present on this special occasion.

ICYM-PYC Vice President Shaila Moras welcomed the gathering. ICYM-PYC Liturgy Secretary Reshma Sequeira and the team started the prayer services. Different Hymns were sung and all the ICYM-PYC members offered flowers to the Infant Mary. Next, Josvita D'Souza and Reena Crasta divided the members into groups and conducted games which were enjoyed by everyone. Later, all the ICYM-PYC members sat in rows to have the food. Food was prepared by the ICYM-PYC members itself. There were 9 different items for dinner. Food was delicious and all the ICYM-PYC members enjoyed this celebration.

On April 27th, 2025, at 7:00 AM, 20 enthusiastic members of the Pompei Youngsters Club – ICYM Gurpur Unit, along with their Animator Mr. Godwin Tauro, gathered at the church to kick off a much-awaited picnic to UVA Meridian Amusement Park, Kundapur. Before beginning the journey, Mr. Godwin Tauro led the group in a short prayer, seeking God's blessings for a safe and joyful trip. The group traveled by mini-bus, enjoying each other's company along the way. A delicious breakfast stop re-energized everyone, and by 9:45 AM, the team arrived at the amusement park, excited for the day ahead. The fun began with a round of dry games, bringing out lots of laughter and team spirit. This was followed by a tasty lunch featuring chicken biryani, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Pompei Youngster's Club Affiliated to ICYM Gurpur Unit and Youth Commission grandly celebrated 51 st Annual Day Ceremony on 10 th February 2024 in the Our Lady of Pompei Church, Gurpur Kaikamba. Program began by seeking God’s blessings through the prayer song. President of this event ICYM – PYC Director Rev. Fr. Rudolf Ravi D’sa, Chief Guest, honorary PYC Member Mr. Prinson Menezes.
